The Value of a Soul

Even after what I wrote about in my post from two weeks ago, I continue to hesitate in sharing the freeing truth about same-sex attraction and the identity it has become with those around me. This is what I heard one morning during prayer, referencing my continued hesitation.
'Do you know the value of one soul? If you did you would risk anything and everything to save just one as the saints of old did. Casual sex, porn, contraception, euthanasia, and abortion have devalued human life and so also devalued the soul. People are unbothered at the sight of a dismembered baby in a bag being sold for experimentation. How are they going to understand the value of the invisible soul when they do not value the visible body? I have given you a better understanding of both. And so you take risks to save just one person. If just one soul turns away from the destructive homosexual lifestyle or transgenderism you have engaged in an eternally valuable service. Do not let the lack of understanding of others deter you. Do not let the lack of tangible result or progress hold you back or silence you. I am pleased. Let that be your only reward.'
'You are to be My light in the darkness. Shining only for My benefit. Not for any gain or reward of your own. I am pleased.'
'I will protect you. This does not mean you will not suffer. I will preserve your soul.'
Rev 7:17 "...God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
He does not promise no tears, but that our tears will be wiped away. He does not say how long we will cry before the wiping occurs.
'Are your clients and coworkers souls not as valuable as the stranger on the internet who sees the video you made for the Courage apostolate?'
Of course it is.
'Then why would you even consider withholding the freeing truth you have been given from them?'
Fear.
'Of what?'
Ridicule. Rejection.
'Was Christ not ridiculed and rejected? What an honor to follow in His footsteps for the beautiful truth you carry and have the opportunity to share.' Ridicule and rejection can be gifts if you have eyes to see, which you do.'
'Do not let fear hold you back.'
